Tweed Doctor Who Inspired Scarf

Wednesday 22nd August 2018

This was the second scarf I made, and it was made with the intention of being long enough to wrap around twice and still have some length as well as being able to fold the scarf in half. My inspiration for a scarf of this design was Tom Baker's scarf in his era of Doctor Who.

I used roughly 400g of yarn for this project, but please feel free to use as much or as little as you want to make this pattern for suited for you :)

You will need:

400g Hayfield Bonus Tweed Aran

6mm Straight Knitting Needles

Crochet Hook

Method:

Cast on 45 stitches.

Starting with a knit row, stockinette stitch for 8 rows.

Then K1, P1 for 4 rows.

Then garter stitch for until you've almost reached your desired length.

Then K1, P1 for 4 rows.

Stockinette stitch for 8 rows.

Cast off.
